The very first FeCHA Festival had “Truman” as its opening film and this year, its director, Cesc Gay, will visit the festival for the first time with his new comedy STORIES NOT TO BE TOLD (Historias Para No Contar). With multiple Goya awards in his bag, Cesc Gay is one of the best contemporary Spanish directors, with his films enjoying critical and commercial success. In Greece his films “A Gun in Each Hand, “Truman, and “The People Upstairs” have been released.
Award-winning Spanish director and screenwriter Félix Viscarret is the festival’s second guest. Besides presenting his film STARING AT STRANGERS (No Mires a Los Ojos), Félix Viscarret will also host a masterclass on screenwriting that is based on a novel. He has been awarded with a Goya in the Best Adapted Screenplay category for his movie “Bajo Las Estrellas”», has written and directed the Netflix mini-series, “Cuatros Estaciones en Habana”, based on the novels by Leonardo Padura.
