The Festival de Cine Hispan\u00f3fono de Atenas (FeCHA) returns this year to the \u201cLais\u201d open air cinema, with 15 premieres of Hispanic films, keeping us company under the stars. At the opening on the 8th of June, we will sink into the mystery of the \u201cInvisible Guest\u201d \u2013a thriller reminiscent of the best of Hitchcock- and the festival will close on the 15th of June with Ricardo Darin and the acclaimed film, \u201cKoblic\u201d.<\/p>\n
During the eight\u00a0days of FeCHA, the audience will have the chance to enjoy \u2013amongst others\u2013 the new film starring Gael Garcia Bernal, the comic surrealism of \u00c1lex de la Iglesia, as well as the film \u201cLand and Shade\u201d, which was awarded the Jury Award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Furthermore, they will be exposed to the important social and political milestones of Latin America.<\/p>\n
For a second year in a row, FeCHA brings multi-awarded cinematic gems from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador, and Cuba to the centre of Athens.<\/p>\n
Tuesday the 13th of June, loyal to the superstition of the day, we are paying homage to the Spanish horror genre and we will be screening in the indoor screening room the claustrophobic film, “The Writer’s Burrow”.<\/p>\n
After the opening night film, \u201cThe Invisible Guest\u201d, a cocktail party will follow on the terrace of the Greek Film Archive.<\/p>\n
